Wild Wetlands

Come and learn about the natural world at Nature’s Classroom. Special guest, Belynda Alberte from the Lake County Forest Preserve, will be offering four free programs this summer going over the biodiversity around Waukegan and Nature’s Classroom. Registration is not required.

Come in for Wild Wetlands on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 2pm to 3pm at Nature’s Classroom, located at 2255 W. York House Road in Bevier Park. Participants will learn what a wetland is, why they are important, as well as some of the plants and animals that live in the wetlands around them. Participants will partake in a wetland related craft and be provided with a wetland related activity page.
