Family Health & Fitness Day

The Waukegan Park District is hosting Family Health & Fitness Day on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10am to 11:30 at Hinkston Park, located at 810 Baldwin Avenue. Celebrated the second Saturday in June each year, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA)’s Family Health & Fitness Day is a special day promoting the importance of parks and recreation in keeping communities healthy and active.

Free fitness classes, snacks, health information and more will be available. Get your shoes on and meet us at the Hinkston Park Pavilion for the following activities:

  • Zumba from 10:15am to 10:45am
  • Family Bootcamp from 11am to 11:30am
