Corrine J. Rose Park, formerly Belvidere Park, is a large community park located at the intersection of two major Waukegan streets (Lewis Avenue and Belvidere Road) with many amenities including a three story playground, the SplashZone with waterplay features including a three story tower, 500 gallon dump bucket, and four runout slides, bath house, concessions, softball field, bocce ball, tennis, and basketball courts, percussion playground, walking paths, restrooms, two shelters, grilling stations and the indoor Belvidere Recreation Center. The park is named after The Waukegan Park District’s first woman executive director.

Located at 412 S. Lewis Avenue in Corrine J. Rose Park, the SplashZone is a state-of-the-art water park includes a multi-generational water playground with six slides and numerous play features. For general questions, please contact the Field House front desk 847-782-3300.
Hours of Operation*
The SplashTower is closed before Memorial Day weekend and after Labor Day weekend. However, the SprayPark is open for limited hours without an entrance fee for all. Those hours will be posted during those special hour seasons.
Daily SplashZone Fees
*For the resident fee, individuals must show proof of residency within the boundaries of the Waukegan Park District. Residency for a child thirteen years of age or younger can be proven with a Waukegan school ID or guardian’s proof of residency.
**Adults will still be able to enter the facility when attending with a child.
SplashZone Season Passes
New this year, season passes will be available for children, adults, and families. Season passholders will be able to enjoy unlimited entry to the SplashZone.The early bird special is available until Friday, May 20, 2022. Season passes must be purchased at the Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center, located at 800 N. Baldwin Avenue.
Daily SplashZone Passes for External Camps
Residency is based on the physical location of the camp coming to the facility. Resident groups with 8 children or more per adult are considered camps and will be required to pay the resident camp rate.
Rentals
