Polar Bear Plunge 2012

Tis’ the Season for Freezin’, so be freezin’ for a good reason! You’re invited to the 13th Annual Polar Bear Plunge hosted by the Waukegan Park District and the City of Waukegan. The event happens on Sunday, January 1, from 10 -11am at the Waukegan Municipal Beach. Join the brrrrrave citizens from Lake County and plunge into Lake Michigan this year. Proceeds from the Waukegan Polar Bear Plunge go to the SRSNLC- Waukegan Scholarship program. This program helps individuals with disabilities participate in camps, athletics, health and fitness programs, and much more.

Plungers can pre-register for $10 until December 29. Day of registration costs $15 and opens at 9:00am.
