Junior Golf League
The popular Junior Golf League at Greenshire is back for
2010 and is better than ever before. For seven Mondays, the golf league plays at both Greenshire and Bonnie Brook. This season, more instruction for the younger levels is incorporated, which is what they need to learn skills correctly. As in the past, we will have our returning 11-12 year olds starting at 8am. They will be followed by any returning golfers that have been approved to play by the professional staff (age 9-10). This year all new junior golfers and all 7-8 year olds will have three weeks of clinic starting at Bonnie Brook on Monday, June 15. The reason for this change is simple. Most juniors are not prepared to go right out on the golf course, and in fact, it could discourage them. We want to prepare your child in the best way possible to be a successful golfer and to enjoy this great game. Each week we will also have giveaways and fun contests. Free clinics and tee time sign up is Monday, June 8th at Bonnie Brook. There will be no league play or instruction on July 5th.
