Greenshire Golf Course
Greenshire Golf Course is a well-maintained par 27-layout, with holes ranging between 100 and 210 yards. With the course length being 1,265 yards, Greenshire will test the best of golfer's short game. The ability to play a round in less than 1.5 hours offers experienced players an alternative to the driving range.
Located just north of Waukegan in Beach Park, Greenshire Golf Course offers everyone, from the novice golfer to even the most accomplished golfer, a real short-game challenge. (See driving directions below.)

Academy Clinic
Saturday, May 26 at 3pm
If your son or daughter is not sure if golf is the
game for them, here is an opportunity to try it
out. Have them attend our free Junior Golf
Academy clinic on Saturday, May 26 at 3pm.
The basics of golf and being out on the golf course are discussed
by our PGA Professionals. Free hot dogs and ice cream will be
served. The clinic is open to boys and girls ages 7-12. Clubs will be
available to juniors if needed. The clinic is limited to the first 30
kids that sign up and lasts until 4:30pm. Please call the Bonnie
Brook Pro Shop at 847-360-4730 or stop by Bonnie Brook Golf
Course to sign up your child. Free clinic instruction will be held
at Bonnie Brook Golf Course.
Ladies Golf League
Are you looking to play golf in for a no stress environment? Join the Greenshire ladies 9 hole golf league for fun, sun and friendship. Join this fun group on Wednesday mornings at Greenshire golf course. Fees include weekly prizes end of season banquet and giveaways. Sign up with your own group of four or we can pair you up. No stress just fun. Weekly Green fee only $5.00. A onetime registration fee is $40 for residents and $45 for nonresidents. Junior Golf League
For six Monday mornings starting in June, we will be holding the
Junior Golf League at Greenshire. This league is a long standing
Waukegan tradition and for 2012 we look to make it better that ever.
Our Professional staff is committed to providing the best experience
for your junior. Each student will pick a tee time at our sign-up day,
Sunday, May 5, based on availability. We ask that your junior is at the
course 20 minutes before your tee time so you can get your golf
lesson for that week. We encourage parents to walk the course with
their junior, especially the younger aged juniors. Players may register
in advance, tee times may be selected starting Sunday, May 5 at 9am
at Greenshire. All participants must have a tee time. Players pay a $3
green fee weekly unless they are a Greenshire Junior Passport holder.
Parents should allow 60-90 minutes after their child’s tee time.
Fees are $39 for Waukegan residents and $49 for non-residents. Please call the Golf Pro at 847-360-4735 for more information.

Golf Instruction and Lessons
Junior Newbies Golf Camp (7-11 years) $49/ $54
This program introduces the game of golf to the new junior players.
The basics of the game are all discussed with participants receiving a
free T-shirt. The camp culminates in a team on-course tournament
with prizes for all participants. Maximum eight, minimum four.

Junior All Stars Golf Camp (8-13 years) $49/$54
This program is intended for kids who have already had some golf
instruction and are looking to play competitively in the future. Along
with all the fundamentals, on-course management, and staying
composed and positive when things are not going well are discussed.
Players receive a free T-shirt. The camp culminates in a skills contest
and tournament in which all players receive a prize. Maximum eight,
minimum four.

This program is intended to introduce the game of golf to kids ages 4-6 in a fun and safe atmosphere. The very basics of golf are discussed and exciting games and contests are played each week. The last week ends with a special certificate an prize for all players.

Bonnie Brook Play with the Pro Teen League (13-15 years) $49/$54
This new league is a natural progression from our Junior League and
includes instruction for the first week and then an opportunity to
have some on course instruction and play periodically with one of
the golf professionals from Bonnie Brook the following five weeks.
Each week there will be events for prizes culminating in an end of
season tournament in which everyone receives a prize and a special
sportsmanship award will be presented.

Greenshire Golf Course is located between Wadsworth Road and Yorkhouse Road on Lewis Avenue in Beach Park, a north shore community in Lake County, IL.
Directions from the North
Take Interstate 94 south; exit onto Highway 41 to Wadsworth. Go east on Wadsworth Road four miles to Lewis Avenue, turn right (south) and go to 38727 N. Lewis Avenue, Beach Park. The course is on the left, one-quarter mile south of Wadsworth Road.
Directions from the South
Take Interstate 94 to exit 132; go east on Grand Avenue. Proceed four miles to Lewis Avenue, turn left (north) and go three and one-half miles to 38727 N. Lewis Avenue. Greenshire is approximately one-quarter mile south of Wadsworth and approximately one-quarter mile north of Beach Road.
