Waukegan Park District | Visual Arts Center 533 Grand Ave., Waukegan, IL   The Visual Arts Center is your home for professional art instruction for both youth and adults! Watercolor Class

The Waukegan Park District Cultural Arts Division is pleased to announce Pat King joining the Visual Arts Faculty. Pat King will teach a watercolor class on Tuesday mornings from 9-11:30am June 4 to July 30, with no class on July 2, at the Visual Arts Center 533 Grand – Powell Park. Join her and learn techniques to create great watercolor paintings.  The class will focus on composition, the use of strong color, and exciting watercolor techniques.  Each class will consist of a demonstration and individual painting time that allows the student to express their own style. Studio Space Rentals
Rent your own studio where you can create art as often as you like! Studio space is available for a yearly lease at the Visual Arts Center by contacting the Jack Benny Center’s Cultural Arts staff at 847-360-4740.

 

Directions to the Visual Arts Center
The Visual Arts Center is located at 533 Grand Avenue, Waukegan IL 60085. Entry to the Visual Arts Center is off Sherman Avenue (one block west of West Street). Students should enter the building by going south on Sherman Avenue to the first drive south of Grand Avenue. Follow the blue sign to locate the Visual Arts Center.
