SEEKING ACTORS FOR "SUMMER SHOWS FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES"

Bowen Park Theatre announces the auditions for its 2008 "Summer Shows for Young Audiences" season. Auditions will be held Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 1-3pm and Monday, April 21, 2008 from 7-9pm.

Auditions will be held for Pecos Bill and the Ghost Stampede, The True Story of Cinderella, and Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. Auditions will be held in the Schornick Theatre at Jack Benny Center for the Arts, 39 Jack Benny Dr., Waukegan, IL.

Performances are scheduled at 10am and 1pm Tuesday through Friday and 10am on Saturdays. Show dates are June 24-28 for Pecos Bill, July 8-12 for Cinderella, and July 22-26 for Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. The Summer Shows are geared for youth ages 4 through 12 and re filled with audience participation. Rehearsal schedules will be set at the discretion of the director.

Those interested in auditioning must schedule a time slot by calling 847-360-4740 and should come prepared with a one minute monologue and ready for a cold reading. A headshot and resume is required. Bowen Park Theatre Company is a professional, non-Equity company. There is pay.
