The park district has several summer seasonal positions available each year. Applicants/Students are encouraged to apply starting mid-December, during the holiday break, and no later than spring break. Rarely are positions available after June 1st.

Internship Opportunities
Our internship program enables college students to develop their knowledge of park and recreation in many functional areas, including: recreation, parks, cultural arts, athletics, fitness, facility management, risk management and marketing. Internships are administered at the department level; therefore, there is no centralized list. Both paid and unpaid internships are offered year-round and housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
